Our proposition to schools
PIT Recruitment is a UK-based specialist recruitment service for international education, preparing to launch. It is designed for British-curriculum and international schools that want teaching staff trained and experienced in the UK system, and will handle the sourcing, screening and coordination that sits behind a good appointment.
We are building a human-led service. Every candidate we put forward will have been spoken to, and every shortlist will be assembled against the brief a school gives us rather than generated automatically from a keyword match.
Teacher recruitment we support
- Primary class teachers and Early Years practitioners
- Secondary subject specialists, including mathematics, sciences and English
- Inclusion, learning support and SEN roles
- Middle leadership such as heads of department, phase and year
- Senior leadership appointments
Why UK-qualified teachers
Schools delivering the National Curriculum for England, IGCSE and A Level need staff who already understand the curriculum, the assessment structures and the safeguarding expectations that come with it. UK-trained teachers bring that as a starting point rather than something to be developed.
We screen for recognised initial teacher training, professional status, relevant phase or subject experience, and verifiable references, and we tell you plainly where a candidate is strong and where they are not.
How we work with you
- Submit a vacancy or request a shortlistSend us the role, the curriculum, the phase or subject, the start date and anything that makes the post distinctive. A short conversation at this point saves a lot of time later.
- We agree the briefWe confirm what a strong candidate looks like for your school, including the qualifications and experience that are essential rather than desirable.
- Sourcing and screeningWe search our registered candidates and approach suitable teachers directly, checking qualifications, experience and availability before anyone reaches your inbox.
- Shortlist deliveredYou receive candidate profiles with the detail you need to make a decision, along with our honest assessment of fit.
- Interview coordinationWe arrange interview scheduling and keep candidates informed and engaged through what can be a long process.
- Your hiring decisionThe school selects, offers and runs its own pre-employment checks and onboarding. We support the process and stay in contact with the candidate through to their start date.
Candidate information and confidentiality
Candidate details are shared with a school in connection with a specific role, and candidates know when their information is being put forward. Internal recruiter notes stay internal and are never shared with candidates or schools.
If your enquiry is confidential, for example where a post is not yet public, tell us at the outset and we will handle it accordingly.
Consultation
If you are planning ahead rather than filling a specific post, book a consultation. We can talk through timing, the shape of the market, how to position a role, and what candidates typically ask about a destination.
The school FAQs answer the practical questions about vacancies, shortlists, candidate data and the recruitment process.
