When to use this procedure
If something about our service has fallen short, we want to know. This procedure is open to teachers, school contacts and anyone else who has dealt with PIT Recruitment.
If your concern relates to the safety or welfare of a child, please read our safeguarding and compliance page as well. Where a child is at immediate risk, contact the local emergency services and the relevant safeguarding authority first.
How to raise a complaint
Send us your complaint through the enquiry form on this website and mark it as a complaint. A dedicated complaints email address will be published here once our business email is configured.
What to include
- Your name and how you would like us to reply to you
- What happened, with dates where you can give them
- Who you dealt with, if you know
- Any reference numbers, such as a vacancy reference or application
- What you would like us to do to put it right
What happens next
- AcknowledgementWe confirm we have received your complaint and tell you who is handling it.
- ReviewWe look at the records, speak to the people involved and ask you for anything we still need.
- ResponseWe give you our findings, our reasoning, and what we intend to do.
- EscalationIf you are not satisfied, you can ask for the matter to be reviewed internally at a more senior level.
Confidentiality
Complaints are handled with discretion and shared only with those who need to be involved in resolving them. If you are a candidate, raising a complaint will not disadvantage your candidacy.
If your complaint concerns how we have handled your personal information, you also have the right to complain to the relevant supervisory authority for data protection.
