About us
A UK-based specialist recruitment service for international education
PIT Recruitment is a UK-based specialist education recruitment service preparing to launch, built to connect UK-qualified teachers with British and international schools across the Gulf.
Who we are
Prosper in Teaching Recruitment, known as PIT Recruitment, is a specialist education recruitment service based in the United Kingdom and preparing to launch. It is being built for UK-qualified teachers and school leaders who want to build a career overseas, and for British curriculum and international schools across the Gulf who need experienced, properly checked staff.
We were built around a simple observation. Teachers move abroad for good reasons, and schools abroad genuinely need excellent teachers, yet the process connecting the two is often rushed, impersonal and vague about the things that matter most: the real package, the real workload, the real support on arrival.
Our approach is deliberately unhurried. We would rather have one careful conversation that leads to the right appointment than send a hundred CVs into an inbox. That is what our tagline means in practice: excellence in global education recruitment.

Our mission
Our mission is to help great teachers prosper in their careers, and to help international schools appoint people who will stay, grow and make a difference to their pupils.
A good international appointment changes two things at once. It gives a teacher professional experiences they could not easily get at home, from new curricula and examination boards to leadership opportunities that arrive far sooner. And it gives a school a practitioner who understands British standards of teaching, assessment and safeguarding.
Getting that match right requires more than a keyword search. It means understanding a teacher's subject and phase, their family circumstances, their appetite for change and the kind of school culture they will thrive in. It also means being straight with schools about what the market will realistically bear for a particular role.
What we stand for
These are the principles we hold ourselves to in every conversation, with every teacher and every school.
Safeguarding first
Safer recruitment is not an add-on. Identity, qualifications, employment history, references and an enhanced DBS check are part of how we work, every time.
Honest advice
If a role is wrong for you, we will say so. We would rather lose a placement than put a teacher into a school that will not suit them.
Specialist knowledge
We focus on British curriculum and international schools, so we understand phase, subject, examination experience and what schools actually need.
People, not volume
We intend to work with a smaller number of teachers and schools properly, rather than sending unfiltered CVs and hoping something sticks.
Clarity about the move
Packages, visas and relocation are explained plainly and in writing, so you can compare offers on the things that actually matter.
Long-term relationships
Our aim is that teachers come back to us for their next move and schools return to us for their next appointment.
Where we will recruit
We will recruit UK-qualified teachers into British curriculum, IB and international schools across the Gulf and wider region, with a particular focus on the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Egypt.
These are markets where the British curriculum is well established, where schools actively seek UK-trained staff, and where packages are typically structured around salary, accommodation, flights and medical cover rather than salary alone. Our destination guides explain how each market works, and we flag clearly where details such as visa rules and living costs can change.

Our commitments to teachers
- We never charge teachers a fee for finding a role.
- We share the confirmed package details before you interview.
- We ask your permission before your CV is sent to any school.
- We explain qualification and visa requirements before you apply, not after.
- We keep your CV and personal information private and securely stored.
Our commitments to schools
- We put forward candidates who match the role, not everyone on our list.
- We verify qualifications, references and safeguarding checks before introduction.
- We are transparent about a candidate's availability, notice period and motivations.
- We give a realistic view of the market for your subject, phase and location.
- We handle every enquiry confidentially.
Safeguarding and compliance
Every candidate we put forward will go through safer-recruitment checks before an introduction is made. We follow the same expectations that apply in UK schools, and we will not put a teacher forward without them. Our full approach, including how we handle references and enhanced DBS checks, is set out on our safeguarding page.
