Founder confirmation required: The accessibility contact address and the date of the most recent accessibility review will be added once business email is configured and a formal review has been carried out.
Our approach
We want every teacher and every school contact to be able to use this website, including people who navigate by keyboard, use a screen reader, prefer larger text or need reduced motion.
The site has been built with the principles of WCAG 2.2 level AA in mind. We do not hold a formal accessibility certification and we do not claim one.
Features currently in place
- A skip link to the main content at the top of every page
- Semantic headings and landmark regions so that pages can be navigated structurally
- Keyboard access to navigation, forms, menus and dialogs, with a visible focus indicator
- Labels and error messages associated with form fields
- Light and dark modes with attention to text contrast in both
- Alternative text on meaningful images
- Respect for the operating system reduced-motion preference
- Layouts that reflow from small mobile screens up to large desktop displays
Known limitations
Accessibility work is continuous rather than finished. Areas we keep under review include complex filter controls on the vacancy search, documents supplied by third parties, and content published after launch.
If you find something that does not work for you, we would rather hear about it than not.
Telling us about a problem
Please contact us through the enquiry form on this website and describe the page and what happened. A dedicated accessibility contact address will be published here once our business email addresses are configured.
We will acknowledge your message and tell you what we intend to do about it.
