Registering with PIT Recruitment

What registering with PIT Recruitment involves: creating an account, building your teaching profile, uploading your CV, applying for roles and managing your information.

What creating an account does

An account gives you one place to manage your candidacy. You build a teaching profile, upload your CV, apply for vacancies and track every application you have made, all in the same area.

It also allows our recruitment team to consider you for suitable roles as they come in, rather than only when you happen to be looking at the website.

Information you may provide

  • Your name and contact details
  • Your teaching qualifications, including QTS, PGCE or equivalent training
  • Curriculum, phase and subject experience, and examination boards where relevant
  • Preferred destinations and the kind of school you are looking for
  • Availability and earliest start date
  • Your CV, and a short covering note when you apply for a specific role

What we do not ask for

We do not ask for passport numbers, banking details, medical information or criminal record information through this website. If a school requires documentation of that kind later in its own hiring process, it will be handled directly by the school through its own secure procedures.

How your CV is stored

CV files are held in private storage. They are never published on the website and are not accessible to other candidates. Only our recruitment team can open them, and access is logged.

You can replace your CV whenever you like from your account.

Applying for roles

  1. Complete your profileThe more complete it is, the more accurately we can match you.
  2. Upload your CVPDF, DOC or DOCX, up to 5MB.

Managing your account

You can update your profile at any time, change your contact preferences, request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account. Those options are in your account settings.

Registering does not guarantee employment, an interview, visa sponsorship or a placement. Shortlisting, appointments and immigration outcomes are decided by the school and by the relevant authorities.
